Luxury cell phone - Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte

Nokia has turned out a 3G luxury slider cell phone that's elegant in both style and function, and ideal for someone who perhaps prefers understated beauty over something shiny that screams out for attention. Made of carbon fiber, titanium, polished glass, and stainless steel, it has a rather weighty demeanor. The owner of this phone will be able to access its features with subtle gestures: tape it twice and it discreetly displays the time, and simply turn the phone face-down to silence incoming calls. All very smooth. Meanwhile, it boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera, high quality audio, 4GB of built-in memory, and a smudge-proof coating.

The Carbon Arte is expected to retail at around $1,600 when it becomes available later this year.
