Satski GPS

Satski GPS

Long gone are the days of standing at the top of a snow-capped mountain attempting to unfold a sodden paper map, for now there is a new kid in town. Satski is the latest innovation in GPS technology and is aimed specifically at the ski and snowboard market, enabling users to monitor their location and piste progress at the touch of a very sleek looking screen.

Not only does the nifty pocket-sized GPS display your exact position at all times, Satski will also configure the best routes for your level of piste expertise as well as record daily progress including speeds and altitude. Additionally, if an ambitious black run attempt should happen to go amiss, there are inbuilt links to emergency contacts just in case.

Through the use of ‘real time’ performance, skiers and snowboarders are seamlessly guided around the resort, including the lowdown on local restaurants and lifts. Not only does every user gain access to the most hot and happening après ski events, the built in MP3 player provides entertainment whilst relaxing off piste.

At present, Satski is available to rent within 14 of the world’s luxury resorts, including the ever-fashionable Tignes and Val d’Isere. But for the ardent piste goer, Satski is available to buy for £1,500 and is sure to make you feel gadget king of the slopes.
